IPAC Wins Mass COVID-19 Health and Safety Challenge

As reported in an earlier blog, IPAC had been selected as one of eight finalists for the Mass COVID-19 Health and Safety Challenge. The competition which still continues in a 4th and final phase, has been designed for participating companies to identify and grow innovations to slow the spread of COVID-19.

We are happy to announce that IPAC has been awarded the winner of the third innovation pitch competition held October 30, 2020 by the Innovation Institute at the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative (MassTech) and Lever, Inc.    The $25,000 Grand Prize will be used to further the development of IPAC’s new VISTAT filter system providing a low-cost, ease of use, drop-in solution for HVAC units to improve the safety and quality of circulated air within offices and schools.

Tom Kennedy, IPAC’s Chief Technical Officer and the IPAC Team were honored to compete with all participating companies and are humbled by their win in developing much needed solutions for air quality improvement required during this COVID-19 pandemic.
