IPAC has spun off its ViSTAT Air Filter Technology to a new company, BioActive Technology™. The new company is a subsidiary of IPAC created in 2025 to market a new bioactive filtration technology that actively inactivates airborne pathogens. An ablative polymer coating is the foundation of ViSTAT™ Advanced Pathogen Defense, the first product developed by BioActive Technology. Actualized during the COVID-19 pandemic and refined through award-winning research, ViSTAT air filter technology represents a breakthrough in air filtration. Beyond ViSTAT air filter technology, BioActive Technology’s ablative polymer coatings have endless everyday applications – from hospital surfaces to airports and beyond.
